Two Prenatal Visits | Personalized preparation sessions typically held in the comfort of your home.
Birth Plan Creation | Dedicated help mapping out a plan that matches your exact goals and desires.
Continuous Communication | Unlimited phone and text support throughout your entire pregnancy.
Discussion | We discuss your birth plan, expectations, boundaries, possible fears, answer questions, practice comfort measures and labor positions so everyone feels prepared.
Labor & Delivery
Early Stages of Labor | Once you are in labor, I will join when you need additional support, whether at home or the hospital.
Labor & Delivery Support | Continuous physical and emotional support throughout labor that aligns with your desires.
Keepsake Moments | Basic iPhone photos captured when possible. I’m not a photographer but I will try my best to capture some special moments for you!
Immediate Postpartum Care | Support during the first few hours after birth, including initial lactation support if you desire.
Postpartum
Continued Communication | Phone and text support is still continued as you settle into your new routine with baby.
Check in | See how you are doing on a mental, emotional and physical and level. Provide reassurance that you are doing a wonderful job!
Postpartum Visit | One final home visit to bring our circle to a close and reflect on your journey.
I DO NOT believe in a one-size-fits-all model of care. Especially when it comes to something as personal as birth. Client-centered care is the foundation on which Bluegrass Birthways is built.
